Doctors gone wild. This is a growing trend with the peer-to-peer taxi service called Uber. Drivers are being harassed and abused while trying to make an honest living.
The woman has been identified as 30-year-old Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon, a fourth-year medical resident neurology resident employed by Jackson Health System. She was later arrested by cops, however, the driver did not press charges and took a cash settlement instead. The settlement was reported to cover a few hundred dollars worth of damage. Clearly, she's done a lot more damage to the driver by smashing his iPhone, breaking his rear view mirror and destroying other property in the car.
Uber has disabled her account. Her social media profiles are also deleted. Many have left her negative reviews on sites that rate doctors. The Jackson Health System has been placed on administrative leave.
How can doctors act this way? Should her medical license be suspended?
